Review Alouette II 1 / 32 Revell

Posted by Marcelo On August - 15-2009

alouette-024

Usually the helicopter models on large scales are attractive in nature. Large parts, details on display and a great opportunity to create even more realistic details.

This model from Revell Germany is no different. A beautiful copy that can not miss the collection of any scale model 1 / 32. Highly detailed, this kit once assembled certainly draws the attention of any observer.

alouette-001

The injection is a traditional Revell, with a few barbs but nothing to panic the modeler. The highlights are the large quantity of parts and details. The model can be mounted version with wheels or skis, thus opening a huge range of paint options and countries.

The model can be fitted with doors open or closed, since the hinges are articulated.

This is a great kit, highly recommended, and that once assembled is very good on the bookshelf of any modeler and will certainly make a difference in naming conventions and exhibitions, since we can hardly find Allouetes 1 / 32 assembled there. Note 10 for this kit.

Review Bo-105 1 / 32 Italeri

Posted by Marcelo On July - 1-2009

bo-105-italeri-1-32-010

The Bo-105, designed in the mid 60s and manufactured by the year 2001, represents the maximum use of composite materials and use new technologies in helicopters. It is one of the few with rotor disk, allowing a repertoire maneuvers before so made by fixed-wing aircraft, as loops and Immelmanns.

It is also a leading anti-tank helicopters in the world, small enough to hide among trees and agile as Lynx.

The kit of the Revell / Italeri is not as amazing as the Bo-105 from real life. It is an old kit and even on the scale 1 / 32, is limited in the details.

In the cockpit seats are very simplistic and there are no collective pitch levers. In general, much must be done on scratch inside the kit. The front doors are separate and can be assembled open or closed. The main rotor is relatively detailed but has a mast height of a little low between the star and head of the rotor.

The Italeri kit is the Bo-105p (PAH-1), the initial version of the production of short fuselage, used by the German army. Six tubes HOT missiles and a target ceiling are included. If the modeler wishes, simpler version naked Bo-105C is available with Dutch insignia.

The decals are well printed but it comes with plenty. Only numbers and insignia of identification are included, besides the danger signal indicative of the tail rotor.
For those who like the Bo-105, is a painstaking assembly. And certainly gratifying.

Review Bell Jet Ranger 1 / 32 Revell

revell-jet-ranger-1-32-007

I always wanted to buy this kit and I confess that disappointed me a bit to buy it. The kit has plastic in the year 1985 entered, but I believe that such a kit even older.

The cast is clearly a Jet Ranger to the commencement of production and calendar with windows, flat skis with low and aerodynamic fairings. Virtually all operators use the current military version top ski and tube.

However, for aa version of the FAB, the kit seems very appropriate, because our Jet Rangers had exactly this pattern.

The kit is injected into white plastic and "trees" typical kit of the 60s and 70s. My kit came with some spare parts and I believe that this behavior is repeated on other boxes.

revell-jet-ranger-1-32-000

The details of the model are simple and spartan - few details, no refinement and a lot of work in detail for modelers who want to have a model minimally well done.

revell-jet-ranger-1-32-001

The tirbina is present, but without detailed information, like the rest of the kit.

revell-jet-ranger-1-32-006

On the left side, the kit presents comortimento load the Jet Ranger, with the option of door furniture. Details of the hinge are huge and clumsy, like a toy. If you want a guy with a miniature model and not a toy, move away from the idea of keeping this door open.

The decals are well printed. A color version for a German helicopter and another for a beautiful blue paint Austrian police. But remember: if you mount any type of box, the kit is wrong! Both have high skis and tubes, and the model only gives the option to ski down and streamlined.

revell-jet-ranger-1-32-018

It is a kit weak. Good ride for FAB, but if you want to ride any other military version will have to work harder. Valley by the beauty of the aircraft, but a nice model, you have to work hard. Note 5
